2009 Blind Idea

Made with:

Square Aluminum tubing - Both 1/16th" and 1/8th" thick - for the framework or skeleton

4'x8' .080 thick Aluminum sheets for the boat floor and top skin.

Camo will be a combo of grass mats attached to the boat gunnels and edging and the Mud Buddy Shaggy blind material used on the flat areas.

Blind is not done at this point, there are tons still to do.

Sheet aluminum used for the floor.

"Ledgers" screwed to the front and back decks. Cross joists to support the new deck.

Support posts and skeleton.

Finished skeleton.

Full sheet of aluminum before and after cutting out the shooting holes.

I left about an inch and a half of sheet metal to overlap the front deck, tucking it under the front deck matting.

Self tapping 1/2" screws through the sheet metal into the square tubing.

Quick paint spray and Sears rubber flooring for the boat floor, use 3M spray adhesive after dry fitting.

LED white lights for setting up, left photo is looking towards the rear deck above the new upper deck that connects the front and rear decks.

The right photo is looking forward under the decking.

CAMO!!!

More photos coming as the blind is finished, which there is a lot left to do.
